The Guanting Reservoir Bridge is one of the control projects along the line of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway. It is 9,077 meters long. The main bridge uses 8-hole 110 m simply supported arch steel girders across the 280 square kilometers Guanting Reservoir. It is the first domestic steel girder railway bridge applicable to 350 km/h high-speed railway with ballasttrack. In order to ensure the water quality is not polluted during the construction process, the project adopts the "pushing operation method".
